70 years of UN action discussed as part of 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

Organized by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) a plenary session “Building peace: 70 years of UN action – towards a culture of prevention” has been held as part of the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.

The event was moderated by Jens Boel, Chief Archivist, the representative of UNESCO.

Other speakers at the event included Araz Azimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Christian Guillermet, Deputy Director-General, Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica, Zalmay Khalilzad, former American ambassador to UN, David Fernandez Puyana, Consultant, UNESCO liaison office in Geneva.
