Mr Hugue Ngandeu Ngatta holds a LL.B. (University of Buea, Cameroon, 2001), a LL.M. (University of Yaoundé II, Cameroon, 2002) and a Diplome Universitaire de 3e Cycle in Law (University of Nantes, 2007). His work in Cameroon (2002-2007) with local and international NGOs as well as cooperation agencies focused on human rights protection, socio-economic insertion of youth and humanitarian relief assistance to refugees. He joined UNESCO as Associate Expert funded by Italy in December 2007, and attended to the Organization’s programmes and activities on intercultural dialogue, the General History of Africa, the Slave Route, culture of peace and the rapprochement of cultures, with a view to promoting mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence. Since December 2016, he is Programme Specialist for the Social and Human Sciences Sector at the UNESCO Regional and Multisectoral Office in Abuja (Nigeria).
