Dr Sélim El Sayegh holds a PhD in International Law since 1992, a DEA (M.Phil) in History from the Sorbonne University (1990), and a M.A in Diplomacy and International Relations from Paris-Sud University (1989). Dr. El Sayegh was the Minister of Social Affairs of Lebanon under PM Saad Hariri Government (2009-2011), where he developed policies and strategies in the social sector and coordinated the review of the National Strategy for Social Development in Lebanon. He is the author of the publication “The Gulf Crisis and the Use of Force, from prohibition to authorization”, LGDJ Paris, 1993, awarded nationally as best publication in Law and Political Science in France. He is the author of “Promoting the Culture of Dialogue between Cultures in the Arab World”, published by UNESCO Beirut Office in 2013.
